Southern Ireland, Ring of Kerry Ah the long bank holiday has arrived, a few extra days thrown in for good measure, what better way then to spend it travelling around the country where the back stuff is the best in the world and the night in Dublin is top notch. 5 Bikes 3 two up, ya canny go wrong... Jeff, Jules on the Busa, Brian, Andrea on the Triumph, Paul and Chris on their Bemmers and Kate and I on the FJR13. All met in Anglesey Friday night at eh Rhosniegr camping ground, Kate and I were last to arrive but managed to find the rest of the team in the Pub, a few ales and a good night sleep. Next more off to Holyhead to catch the Cat across to the port of Dun Laoghaire. Sea's flat weather fine, arrive and make a run down to just south of Cork to our first stop Youghal.. Great little town, the birth place of the film 'Moby Dick'.. had a drink in the local bar. Met some real cool locals.. Second day dawned bright, but rain to the west.. Great breakfast at the camp cooked by the old lady running the place.. Road around the 'Ring of Kerry' a few spots of rain but no problem.. Great scenery. Camped the night just out side Cahersiveen, awesome spot all to ourselves, apart from a few spots of rain while we had the bbq it was great, more black stuff drunk that night.. Next saw again perfect weather, Paul, Kate and I departed the group and made our way east. Were off for a night in Dublin, and gees it was fantastic. The rest of the team had a few more day riding around.. A few Pics of the trip below..
